Wide receivers Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley headlined a large contingent of Falcons players who were limited during the team's practice session on Wednesday.
In total, nine players were marked as limited on Atlanta's injury report from Wednesday. Jones and tight end Austin Hooper were two starters who missed the Falcons' game against the Saints, but their participation in practice is a sign they are progressing. Earlier this week, Falcons coach Dan Quinn said they would take it all the way through the week before making a determination on their status for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.
Offensive linemen Ty Sambrailo (hamstring) and James Carpenter (concussion) were the two players who missed practice due to injury. Defensive end Allen Bailey also missed Wednesday's practice, but he did so due to a personal matter and not because of an injury.
Here are the full injury reports for the Falcons and Panthers.
