Asked pre-practice about the status of a few players, head coach Raheem Morris said the Falcons will ramp Andersen back up throughout this week of practice to discern whether or not he'll be able to give Sunday a go. The last game Andersen played was in the Falcons' Week 4 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. He was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week following that performance.

The Falcons also got a good report by way of Bergeron. The starting left guard was taken out of last Sunday's game against the Seahawks with a neck injury. Kyle Hinton filled in at left guard to finish the game, but Bergeron was back at practice for the Falcons Wednesday, working as normal with the starting offensive line. However, a spot on the starting offensive line to keep an eye on is at center.

Day 1 starter Drew Dalman has been on injured reserve with an ankle injury for a few weeks. Asked specifically about Dalman Wednesday, Morris was noncommittal about Dalman's timeline for return. This matters because backup center Neuzil did not practice Wednesday, with Matt Hennessy taking over at center. Neuzil left Sunday's game against the Seahawks for a short period of time but did return. His progress throughout the week will be something to monitor as the Falcons prep for the Bucs.
