After a perfect performance in his Falcons debut, kicker Younghoe Koo has been named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Koo finished 4-for-4 on field goal attempts from 37, 36, 30 and a career-best 48 yards in New Orleans and 2-for-2 on extra point attempts.

The Falcons signed Koo during their bye week on Oct. 29 after parting ways with Matt Bryant, the franchise's all-time leading scorer.
Prior to signing with the Falcons, Koo's most recent stint in the NFL was with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2017. Koo kicked in four games and was 3-of-6 on his field goal attempts. He also kicked for the Atlanta Legends in the AAF and was 14-of-14 on his field goal attempts.
Koo attended Georgia Southern for his collegiate career.
