Falcons release depth chart for Monday Night Football bout with Philadelphia Eagles

Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET on Monday.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Falcons are not entering into a crucial primetime matchup the way they wanted to, coming off a 18-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1. However, they have a chance to right the ship against a tough team in an even tougher environment this coming Monday night in Philadelphia when they face the Eagles.

Their opponent is coming off a sure-footed win over the Green Bay Packers in Brazil in Week 1. They'll be a force to be reckoned with and the margin of error for the Falcons in this game will be small. There are days to go before the ball is put down for this matchup, but the team's release of the official depth chart signifies the start of a new week.

There isn't too much to report about this Week 2 depth chart. The only notable difference from Week 1 to Week 2 is the inclusion of newly signed offensive tackle Brandon Parker. He will act as Jake Matthews' backup at left tackle. Parker joined the Falcons this week after six seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders, where he made 33 starts and had 59 game appearances.

Another small change to the depth chart came at kickoff return. Last week, Mike Hughes was listed after Avery Williams with both punt and kickoff responsibilities. Now he's just listed as the reserve for punt returns. Ray-Ray McCloud holds the spot for kickoff, which tracks with who the Falcons deployed on kickoffs alongside Williams against the Steelers last weekend.
