FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Falcons released their final injury report along with the team's game designations for their home opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday.
After being limited at various points this week, Kyle Pitts (hamstring) and Nate Landman (quad) were full participants in Friday's practice. This is the second day in a row for Pitts at full-go and first this week for Landman.
The Falcons chose to rest a handful of players throughout Friday's practice. None of the following names were resting for injury related reasons. Offensive lineman Jake Matthews and defensive lineman Ta'Quon Graham were listed as limited participants, while defensive linemen Grady Jarrett and David Onyemata did not participate at all. Again, none of these players have any injury related issues.
As for injuries to take note of, the Falcons have officially ruled out defensive back Antonio Hamilton Sr. with a groin injury. He first showed up on Thursday's injury report as a limited participant. He did not participate in practice Friday and was the only player on the team's game report, being ruled out completely ahead of the home opener. Hamilton was listed on the team's official depth chart as the back up nickel behind starter Dee Alford.
