Falcons release inactives ahead of Week 6 matchup with Carolina Panthers

Ruke Orhorhoro active for second game in a row.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Head coach Raheem Morris had already ruled inside linebacker Troy Andersen out of Sunday afternoon's game against the Carolina Panthers by the time the inactives list came out 90 minutes before kickoff. So, it wasn't a surprise to see Andersen listed amongst those not playing as he is working back to 100% from a knee injury.

In fact, the list of inactives says less about those who aren't playing and more about those who are. Fellow inside linebacker Nate Landman got the all-clear this week to be activated off injured reserve. He will be available to the Falcons for the first time since Week 1.

For the second week in a row, rookie defensive lineman Ruke Orhorhoro is active for Atlanta, meaning Kentavius Street is not.

The second-round draft pick made his Falcons' debut with the defense in their Thursday Night Football overtime win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played well in rotation, being a particular help at times in run support, which is an area of needed improvement for this defense. He could be very important as the Falcons face Chuba Hubbard, who is averaging 105 rushing yards per game in the Panthers' last three appearances.

Here is the entire list of Falcons inactives:

RB Jase McClellan

LB Troy Andersen

DL Brandon Dorlus

OL Jovaughn Gwyn

OL Elijah Wilkinson

T Brandon Parker

DL Kentavius Street
