FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Falcons (4-6) will be without Pro Bowl linebacker Deion Jones for their prime-time matchup against the New Orleans Saints (9-1).
This is obviously big news for Atlanta as Jones is not only a top-tier defender in the NFL, but he also has a propensity for making big plays against Drew Brees and the Saints.
Jones is the only player who has been ruled out for the Falcons, and he was also the only player who was limited during Wednesday's practice. Here is the Falcons' full injury report from Wednesday:
The Saints will also be short an impact player as tackle Terron Armstead has been ruled out. Two other players, defensive end and Marcus Davenport and wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith, are both listed as questionable.
