Falcons Sign TE Simmons

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have signed tight end A.J. Simmons.

Simmons, 6-3, 255 pounds, played in 48 games and caught 21 passes for 238 yards with a pair of touchdowns during his career at the University of Arizona. The Oakland, CA native posted a career-best 10 catches for 132 yards with one touchdown as a junior in 2009.
