The Atlanta Falcons and USA Football will host the 6th annual 2013 State Forum at Pace Academy in Atlanta, GA on Saturday, May 4th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This free event is open to youth football association presidents and/or commissioners in the state of Georgia.
The Forum provides an opportunity for attendees to share best practices and network, learn about health and safety initiative/legislation, and learn about the Heads Up Football membership program as a means to help grow the sport of football throughout Georgia.
Falcons President & CEO Rich McKay will be in attendance along with Falcons Alumni and USA Football Master Trainer Buddy Curry, and Falcons Alumni USA Football NFL Ambassadors Coy Wire and Brian Finneran to show support.
To expand opportunities for safe participation, the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation will donate up to $50,000 worth equipment to Georgia youth football leagues. The program will give priority to youth leagues in need of new equipment and apparel to expand opportunities for safe participation among youth, ages 5-13. The Atlanta Falcons will partner with Good Sports on the equipment donations. The donations will be awarded on a competitive basis. June 1, 2013 is the deadline to apply.
