Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians was hospitalized early Monday morning after "experiencing discomfort and not feeling well during the night," according to the team’s website. Falcons DE Dwight Freeney, who played for Arians in 2015 and is preparing to face the Cards on Sunday, extended well wishes to the 64-year-old.
"Bruce, me and him go back. I hope whatever going on, it gets cleared up," Freeney said following Monday's practice at Flowery Branch. "I know he means so much to that organization and that team and guys across the league who have played with him. I wish him the best and hopefully he has a fast recovery. And hopefully whatever's going on isn't serious."
Per the Cardinals, all tests conducted on Arians so far "have come back favorably and that "he remains in the hospital for continued evaluation."
