*Each week AtlantaFalcons.com contributing writer Daniel Cox examines the NFL experts and their Falcons picks and compiles it all to see who believes the most in the Atlanta Falcons. *
And in Week 6, it gets interesting.
As if 11 experts and one computer weren't enough. We've added six new experts this week and we've looked back at their history to make sure everything stays fair.
We learned last week that SI's Peter King seems to pick against the Falcons every chance he gets. A few of our new additions joined him in that incorrect pick last week, ProFootballTalk.com's Mike Florio and NFL Network's Sterling Sharpe.
Like many of Atlanta's opponents this season, Florio and Sharpe learned their lessons. King did not and went against the Falcons for a second week in a row, making it four out of six weeks he's turned his head on Atlanta.
He's hanging on at 3-2 by virtue of correctly picking the Steelers in Week 1.
Despite an 0-1 start, Chris Mortensen and Ron Jaworski have picked the Falcons for four straight and are showing their loyalty once again.
Also in the loyalty department, hometown columnist of the *Atlanta Journal-Constitution *sits at a proud 4-1, having picked the Falcons every single week.
With a Falcons win, Mortensen, Jaworski, Merril Hoge, Adam Schefter and Dave Goldberg, Joe Theismann and the NFL Network duo of Brians (Brian Billick and Brian Baldinger) can pull ahead of the pack to pass the AccuScore computer.
"Philadelphia is 3-0 on the road but winless at home in 2010. I don't see that changing on Sunday. Though Kevin Kolb looked somewhat Vick-ian on a third-and-18, third-quarter scramble on Sunday night, he'll need a lot more than shifty moves to solve the Falcons defense." --Peter Schrager, FoxSports.com's Week Six Picks * "If this game was in Atlanta, Andy Reid would have to declare Michael Vick fit and play him. At the Linc, where the Iggles have sustained both their losses, it's still Kevin Kolb." --Dave Goldberg, AOL Fanhouse Week Six Picks * "Though this one could be a little bit of a shootout…the absence of left tackle Jason Peters should provide the difference for the Falcons." --Mike Florio, ProFootballTalk.com Week Six Picks * "Expect Kevin Kolb to start and lose." --Jeff Schultz, Atlanta-Journal Constitution Blog
