The Falcons loss to the Seahawks was certainly a tale of two halves.
Atlanta's second half performance showed big improvement over the first half, but was not enough as they fell to the Seahawks 24-26.
Seattle limited Atlanta's ability to get their ground game going in the first half, with Devonta Freeman being held to just nine rushing yards. Quarterback Matt was hit eight times and sacked three times in 17 first half drop backs.
Atlanta made several adjustments at halftime, and thanks to the play of Ryan and Julio Jones, the Falcons were able to move the ball down the field.
Jones, receiver Mohamed Sanu and tight end Levine Toilolo all found the end zone for the Falcons.
The play of the game occurred on special teams when DT Ra'Shede Hageman blocked the Seahawk's extra point attempt that would have tied the game up.
The Falcons got the ball back with the lead and less than 4 minutes on the clock, but Ryan was intercepted on a long attempt to Julio Jones. The defense kept the Seahawks to a field goal, which ended up being enough for a Seattle win.
