AtlantaFalcons.com managing editor Jay Adams gives his three takeaways every day during camp:
## Secondary has a test
The combination of Tom Brady and Randy Moss is a dangerous one — even in practice. The two really gave the Falcons' secondary a run for its money Tuesday. With starter Brent Grimes resting with an injury and Dunta Robinson working his way back from an injury, the task of stopping the deadly combo fell on the shoulders of Brian Williams, Christopher Owens, Chevis Jackson and Dominique Franks, among others. The reps against Brady and Moss looked to be quite helpful.
## Defensive line owns
The Falcons' defensive line looked awfully impressive as it squared off with the Patriots' offensive line during individual drills Tuesday. Corey Peters, Trey Lewis and Peria Jerry particularly looked good. Veteran John Abraham had an impressive performance, as well. The Falcons' defensive line is really progressing nicely to this point and could be a major problem for offensive linemen all season.
## Closing the gates
If you weren't able to make it out to Flowery Branch for training camp practices this summer, you'll have to wait until next year. The Falcons finished off their practice sessions open to the public Tuesday afternoon with their second combined session with the New England Patriots. The Falcons practice four more times before camp breaks, and all those sessions are closed to the public.
