FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons re-signed offensive lineman Kyle Hinton, the team announced Wednesday.
Hinton was first signed by the Falcons in 2023 after spending three seasons on the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad. He played in 16 games and made one start at guard during the 2023 season for Atlanta while also playing special teams.
Hinton won a competitive camp battle to return as one of the Falcons' top interior reserve linemen in 2024. He was active for all 17 games and played the same number of snaps (82) on offense as he did special teams, although he did not start a game.
The 6-foot-2, 315-pound lineman will be 27 years old next season. Hinton has versatility to his game and has played both guard spots in previous preseasons. With Chris Lindstrom and Matthew Bergeron returning as starters, Hinton is an addition that strengthens the team's depth and maintains familiarity within the group. Continuity is the calling card for Atlanta's offensive line, and Hinton is part of that.
