Analyis:It's become clear that Darron Lee is the favorite to end up in Atlanta on Day 1 of the draft. The fact that Lee is so highly regarded shows how much his position has evolved. In the past, front seven defenders made their money with brute strength and overwhelming size.
Lee, however, succeeds thanks to his versatility and pure athleticism. He's one of many linebackers who make up for a compact frame with coverage skills, solid tackling mechanics and blazing speed. And that's what the Falcons need right now.
