Mock Monitor: 4.0

Stanford tight end Coby Fleener still holds the consensus pick in our weekly Mock Monitor, but his stranglehold on the top of the mocks is starting to fade as we get the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine underway this week.

Fleener's stock may be on the rise as we draw closer to the NFL Draft, and that could put him out of reach for the Falcons in the second round.

A new contender is starting to make a push among the mocks and was projected to go to the Falcons at No. 55 overall twice in this week's sampling. Virgina Tech cornerback Jayron Hosley got two nods this week, from NFLsFuture.com and NewNFLDraft.com. Previously, Hosley was a selection for the Falcons on the always popular WalterFootball.com.

Known as a ballhawking cornerback at 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, Holsey is a junior forgoing his senior year with the Hokies to come to the NFL. Holsey's interception numbers went down in 2011 after notching nine interceptions in 2010, but the drop in production could be credited to a nagging hamstring injury late in the season.

Hosley and Fleener were the only two players selected multiple times in the Mock Monitor this week.
