FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – The Falcons' roster is loaded with talent from top to bottom. In addition to the talent, the team has experience at every position, making them a preseason favorite by many outside media outlets.
But as the Falcons have continually progressed each year, so has the entire NFC, making the margin for error that much less.
NFL Network's Mike Silver stopped by practice on Friday and talked about his expectations for this Falcons team.
"I think the Falcons are good enough to win the NFC but I also think the NFC is kind of like the Western Conference in the NBA right now, look out," Silver said.
Silver also mentioned the following teams he believes will be the Falcons' biggest competitors in the NFC: New Orleans Saints, Green Bay, Carolina Panthers, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
Four of those six teams made the postseason in 2017 and the Falcons play four of those six teams during the regular season.
