All of the Falcons that missed this week's practices were officially announced as inactive prior to Sunday's game against the Panthers, including starting fullback Lousaka Polite.
In Polite's place, backup running back Jason Snelling will start. A fullback in college, Snelling has been a spot starter at FB in the past.
Also inactive for the Falcons against the Panthers is TE Michael Palmer, CB Chris Owens, RB Antone Smith, QB Dominique Davis, DE Jonathan Massaquoi and OT Lamar Holmes.
Despite being listed as questionable throughout the week for the Panthers, linebacker Jon Beason will start for the Panthers.
The inactives for Carolina arre QB Jimmy Clausen, WR Joe Adams, S D.J. Campbell, OT Bruce Campbell, OG Mike Pollak, DE Antwan Applewhite and DT Frank Kearse.
