While fan voting for the 2015 Pro Bowl officially ended Monday, the staff at Pro Football Focus recently released its roster of the players it deems worthy of a spot to play in the NFL version of an All-Star game, held this year in Arizona.
Five Atlanta Falcons players made the cut, quarterback Matt Ryan (reserve), wide receiver Julio Jones (reserve), cornerback Desmond Trufant (reserve), kicker Matt Bryant (starter) and punt returner Devin Hester (starter). Below are the stats for each player, serving as proof for the votes each star received:
Ryan: 356-of-541 (65.8 percent), 4,112 yards, 27 TDs and 5 INTs
Jones: 93 receptions for 1,428 yards (15.4 avg) and 6 TDs
Hester: 40 kickoff returns for 972 yards (24.3 avg) and 16 punt returns for 238 yards (14.9 avg), including 1 68-yard TD
Trufant: 55 tackles, 14 PBUs, 2 INTs and 1 fumble recovery
Bryant: 29-of-36 made field goals, including 5 from 50-plus yards
