FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- C.J. Goodwin's continued transition to cornerback seems to be going well. During Tuesday's practice at Falcons training camp, Goodwin showed off his natural receiving instincts to make a great play.
In the team portion of practice, Goodwin stepped in front of receiver Marvin Hall to come away with a nice interception. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound corner proved he wasn't afraid to get physical on the play, as he had a psuedo-box-out on Hall to make the pick.
Goodwin played in 14 games with one start for the Falcons in 2016. He recorded 17 total tackles and had two pass defenses.
