FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Atlanta Falcons training camp is officially underway, and several players already appear to be in midseason form.
Second-year linebacker Deion Jones, who had a breakout rookie season with 108 tackles, three interceptions and two touchdowns, looks poised to become one of the best young defenders in the NFL.
On Thursday, Jones showed off his coverage skills by knocking away a Matt Ryan pass to running back Terron Ward. Opposing quarterbacks may want to think twice before forcing a ball into Jones' territory.
