ATLANTA -- Late in the first quarter Falcons rookie running back Malik Williams provided a spark for the offense with a 16-yard catch out of the backfield, which was the biggest gain of the night for Atlanta at that point in the game.
Williams did more than just run for 16 yards, however. He provided a bit of flair by leaping clear over a Dolphins defender and landing on his feet to keep running. He was ruled out of bounds where he landed, but the play was still impressive, nonetheless.
Williams is among the many player hoping to leave a good final impression in the Falcons' final preseason game. He played two seasons at Louisville, gaining 676 yards on 86 carries and scoring five touchdowns in that time.
