ATLANTA -- We've seen Mohamed Sanu line up in the "12-guage" formation several times this season, but Sunday was the first time he's thrown a pass in 2017.
And it was an absolute beauty.
After bobbling the fake handoff, Sanu reared back and launched a rocket that found Julio Jones in stride just as he crossed the goal line for a 51-yard touchdown. You can watch it below:
It was the first touchdown pass of the season for Sanu, who has completed all six pass attempts in his career, three of which have been touchdowns. The long touchdown pass gave Atlanta a 10-3 lead early in the second quarter. You can follow along with our live blog from the game here.
