FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The NFL's reigning sack leader is back to wreak havoc. Vic Beasley doesn't just have to knock down the quarterback to make a play, however.
During the Falcons' first team period of Wednesday's training camp practice, Beasley beat his block and knocked the ball clean out of running back Tevin Coleman's hands.
Coach Dan Quinn has emphasized the importance of "the ball" this preseason. For his defense, that means forcing turnovers to get the ball back to the offense. Offensively, it means protecting the ball at all cost. Beasley had six forced fumbles last season; he knows all about the ball.
