Wide receiver Roddy White remained out of practice as the Falcons hit the field Tuesday as he is recovering from a hamstring injury suffered in Sunday's loss to the Bengals.
Head coach Mike Smith said that it's not important for White to return to practice Wednesday in order for him to participate in Thursday's game. Smith said the Falcons will hold a 25-minute walkthrough practice session Wednesday and White's participation in that practice will not be indicitive of whether he will be available against Tampa Bay.
The week's final injury report will be released Wednesday and each player on the report will be assigned a game status of probable, questionable, doubtful or out.
OT Jake Matthews (ankle) returned to full participation Tuesday, a good sign that the rookie left tackle could return to the playing field for Thursday night's game against Tampa Bay.
"It was good to get him back into the starting lineup," head coach Mike Smith said following Tuesday's practice. "So with the progress that he's made with the (Athletic Performance Department) and what they've been doing with him, we could basically go through a full practice with him (Tuesday)."
LB Prince Shembo (knee) and WR Julio Jones (ankle) were also at full participation Tuesday.
