As the Falcons took the practice fields in Flowery Branch on Wednesday, three players were sidelined.
DE Dwight Freeney (Not Injury Related), WR Taylor Gabriel (Foot) and TE Austin Hooper (knee) did not participate as the team began preparation for the New Orleans Saints.
Head Coach Dan Quinn said Hooper would run on the side, but until he's able to make cuts full speed, he won't go.
"He's definitely getting close," Quinn said Hooper's return.
Rookie LB De'Vondre Campbell returned to practice and was limited after missing Sunday's game with a concussion that he suffered versus the 49ers.
CB Robert Alford (toe), G Andy Levitre (hip), S Keanu Neal and WR Julio Jones (toe) were also limited.
