Anthony Johnson

CAREER

• Has spent time with the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints since entering the league in 2023 but has not appeared in an NFL game.

COLLEGE

• Attended the University of Louisville for three seasons (2018-20) before transferring to the University of Virginia for his final two seasons (2021-22).
• Played in 55 total games (27 starts) in his collegiate campaign and registered 138 tackles (94 solo), 38 passes defensed, nine tackles for loss, seven interceptions and three forced fumbles.
• Named first team All-ACC, first team VaSID All-State and a team captain at Virginia.
• Appeared in the Reese's Senior Bowl.
• In 2022, he started all 10 games at Virginia and recorded 51 tackles (34 solo), 14 passes defensed, three tackles for loss and two interceptions. His 14 passes defensed were tied for second in the ACC and 18th in the nation.
• Played in 12 games (11 starts) in 2021 and tallied 44 tackles (26 solo), nine passes defensed, a career-best three interceptions, the seventh most in the ACC, and two tackles for loss.
• Appeared in nine games (one start) at Louisville in 2020 and recorded two tackles (one solo) and five passes defensed.
• In 2019, played in 13 games (three starts) and registered 27 tackles (21 solo), seven passes defensed and one interception.
• Saw action in 11 games (two starts) in 2018 and tallied 14 tackles (12 solo), three passes defensed, two tackles for loss and one interception.
• Redshirted in 2017.

• Attended Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Hollywood, Fla.
• Earned all-state and All-Broward County honors in 2016.
• Registered 30 tackles, 10 passes defensed and three interceptions as a junior in 2015.
• Also participated in track and field.
• Son of Sheniqua and Anthony Johnson.
• Earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from Louisville and pursued his master's degree in educational psychology from Virginia.
