The short week draws ever shorter as the Atlanta Falcons prepare to host the New Orleans Saint in Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Thanksgiving night. Atlanta wrapped up its first on-field practice before Thursday's game, and wide receiver Julio Jones was among those who were held out due to injury.
Jones left the Buccaneers game with a shoulder injury midway through the fourth quarter and did not return to the action. Jones has a history of playing through injuries, but it remains to be seen how serious his ailing shoulder truly is. Also held out of Tuesday's practice were tight ends Luke Stocker (back) and Austin Hooper (knee). Running back Devonta Freeman practiced with no setbacks for the first time since sustaining a foot injury in Atlanta's first game against New Orleans.
