Falcons injury report: Mike Hughes ruled out, Younghoe Koo questionable vs. Chargers

The Atlanta Falcons released their game report for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers and two players have been ruled out for the action.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. —The Atlanta Falcons released their game report for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers and two players have been ruled out for the action.

Cornerback Mike Hughes will miss the game due to a neck injury, and rookie running back Jase McClellan is out due to a knee injury. This will be the second-straight game Hughes has missed, which means Atlanta's secondary will once again be short-handed against a good passing game. McClellan, meanwhile, was added to the Falcons' injury report as a limited participant on Thursday and missed the entirety of Friday's session.

The Falcons have also listed kicker Younghoe Koo as questionable for the game due to a right hip injury. Koo is expected to play on Sunday, despite the team signing kicker Riley Patterson to their practice squad. Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said the move was about adding an "emergency" option behind Koo but added "I believe we'll be fine."

A few other notes from Friday's injury report: Wide receiver Drake London practiced fully after being limited on Thursday. However, receiver Darnell Mooney did not practice on Friday, but it was due to rest reasons and not because of an Achilles injury that limited him in a practice session earlier this week. Neither player was given a game designation, however, a sign that they are expected to play on Sunday.
