FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Kirk Cousins faces his former team as the Atlanta Falcons (6-6) take on the Minnesota Vikings (10-2) on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
Atlanta hopes to snap a three-game losing streak in Week 14, its longest drought of the season. Meanwhile, the Vikings are riding a five-game winning streak heading into the matchup. However, all of the wins came against teams at or below .500.
This one means a lot for two teams that have playoff aspirations. The Falcons are holding onto the top spot in the NFC South, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hot on their heels. The Vikings are vying to overtake the 11-1 Lions' position atop the NFC North. However, if things remain as they are in the conference playoff picture, these two teams would meet again in the first round of the playoffs with the Falcons hosting the Vikings.
