STELLAR STATS

— The Falcons are the only team in the NFL with an active streak of at least four sacks in three consecutive games. The defense had three against the Raiders, four in the Week 14 loss to the Minnesota Vikings and five in the Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. The last time the Falcons had three consecutive games with at least four sacks was Weeks 15-17 of the 2004 season, when they had four in each game.

— The Raiders sacked Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins three times. Las Vegas has an active streak of 32 games in which the defense has recorded at least one sack. It's the third-longest active streak in the NFL, behind only the Baltimore Raves (52) and Philadelphia Eagles (42).

— Falcons safety Justin Simmons intercepted Raiders quarterback Desmond Ridder in the fourth quarter. It was the second pick of the season for Simmons. He leads the NFL in interceptions since 2016 with 32.

— The Raiders held the Falcons to 93 yards passing. It's the fewest totaled by Atlanta and allowed by Las Vegas this season. It was the first time in 2024 the Falcons didn't break 100 yards passing.

OBSCURE FACTS

— Cousins did not attempt a single first-down pass in the first half for the first time in his 13-year career, according to ESPN Stats & Info. Cousins' first pass in the second half was on first down, only to be intercepted by Raiders linebacker Robert Spillane.

— The 30-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Drake London in the first quarter marked the first for Cousins since the Week 9 win against the Dallas Cowboys. It ended a 17-quarter drought.

— The Falcons did not take a single snap in the Raiders' red zone. The last time Atlanta didn't have a single red-zone drive was Oct. 22, 2018 in a 23-20 win against the New York Giants, according to TrueMedia.

— The Falcons' three sacks against the Raiders gives them 12 in their last three games. They had 10 sacks in the 11 games prior.

QUOTING RAHEEM MORRIS

On relying on the run game and the play at quarterback

"He's got to play better. Obviously, you've got to go out there and look at everything. He wants to play better. He's got to play better. We've got to find a way to get him to play better. And obviously we'll get to work tomorrow and that's part of our process, we go and look at the tape and review with the people that it needs to be reviewed, with all the coordinators in the room and talk with everybody. We've got to play better at the quarterback position."

QUOTING THE FALCONS

Punter Bradley Pinion

On wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge getting his hands on and either affecting or blocking two Raiders punts…

"If he is not in the Pro Bowl, I don't know — it's rigged. Because he has a touchdown on punt and two blocked punts. That's an exceptional season within itself."

QUOTING THE OPPONENT

Raiders quarterback Desmond Ridder

On playing against the team that drafted and traded him…

"Like I've said every week, I'm blessed to have the opportunity to go out there and play along with those other 10 guys on the field, so it doesn't matter who it's against. I'm always going to be joyful and grateful to be out there."
