FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Falcons announced they have waived/injury settlement wide receiver Colby Pearson.
Pearson, 23, was signed by the Falcons in July after he was released by the Green Bay Packers. Pearson spent a portion of last season on the Green Bay Packers' practice squad, and he was originally signed by the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of BYU. In his four seasons at BYU, Pearson played in 41 games and caught 76 passes for 864 yards and eight touchdowns.
