WHAT TO LOOK FOR
Ridley did it again: Last week, Calvin Ridley recorded eight receptions for 136 yards, marking his fourth game with at least 100 receiving yards in 2020, the most in the NFL this season. He also became the first player with at least 100 receiving yards in four of the first five games of a season in franchise history.
If Ridley reaches 100 receiving yards against Minnesota, would become the fifth player to have at least 100 receiving yards in five of the first six games of a season since NFL/AFL merger in 1970. The others to do it? Minnesota's Adam Thielen (six in 2018), Pro Football Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison (five in 2000), Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Irvin (five in 1995) and New England's Stanley Morgan (five in 1986).
Gurley keeps rolling: Todd Gurley had a season-high 150 yards from scrimmage (121 rushing, 29 receiving) in Week 5, marking his 15th career game with at least 150 scrimmage yards – the most in the NFL since 2015. Gurley's 35-yard touchdown run last week was the 75th of his career. In reaching that mark in his 78th career game, Gurley became the fourth-fastest player to reach 75 career touchdowns in NFL history. Only Pro Football Hall of Famers LaDainian Tomlinson (72 games), Jim Brown (72) and Emmitt Smith (77) reached that mark in fewer games.
Gurley has five rushing touchdowns in 2020, tied with Dallas' Ezekiel Elliott, Las Vegas' Josh Jacobs and Arizona's Kyler Murray for the second-most in the NFL this season. Dating back to Week 3 against Chicago, Gurley has recorded a rushing touchdown in each of the past three games. If he finds the end zone against the Vikings, he would become the fifth player to have a rushing touchdown in four consecutive games in franchise history and the first since Devonta Freeman in 2017.
One Koo customer: Last week, Younghoe Koo connected on field goal attempts from 31 yards, 46 yards and a career-long 54 yards against the Panthers. Since joining the Falcons for the final eight remaining games of the 2019 season, Koo has seven games with at least three made field goals. Despite appearing in eight fewer games, Koo is tied with Chiefs K Harrison Butker and Saints K Wil Lutz for the most such games in the NFL since the start of the 2019 season.
