FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – Atlanta will take the field at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the first and final time this preseason when they host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
The final exhibition game will give players one last opportunity to prove they are worthy of a 53-man roster spot either in Atlanta or elsewhere in the NFL. The Falcons will have some difficult decisions to make before the roster deadline on Aug. 27 at 4 p.m. ET. A large number of players have flashed this preseason, and a few camp battles appear to be coming down to the wire.
