FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The time for speculation has come to an end.
The Atlanta Falcons' initial 53-man roster for the 2024 season was released Tuesday at the NFL's 4 p.m. ET deadline. The offense features 24 players, the defense has 26, and special teams rounds out the count with three.

The Falcons had already released 13 players last Sunday to bring their roster count to 77 come Tuesday. That meant they had to process another 24 transactions prior to the deadline. They released 21, waived/injured another two and placed one on reserve/injured but designated to return.
Atlanta also released its international player, who never counted toward the 90-man training camp roster.
