FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons signed cornerback Keith Taylor, the organization announced Friday.

Taylor comes to Atlanta after one season with the Kansas City Chiefs in which he made 11 appearances with five tackles. In those games, Taylor took 11% of the defensive snaps and 47% of the specials teams snaps. So, he offers the Falcons experience in two phases but his greatest experience has come on special teams.

Taylor spent the 2023 season on the Chiefs' practice squad, getting elevated once but ultimately never seeing the playing field.

Prior to Kansas City, Taylor was with the Carolina Panthers. He played in all 34 games with five starts during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Taylor played 827 snaps on defense with the Panthers and 390 snaps on special teams. He had a combined 67 tackles, one of which was for a loss, along with six pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

The Panthers selected Taylor out of the University of Washington in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft with the 166th overall pick.

Taylor is 26 years old, stands at 6-foot-3 and weighs 195 pounds.

A.J. Terrell and Mike Hughes were the Falcons' starting cornerbacks in 2024 and are both back for 2025. Otherwise, Taylor joins a position group that currently features Natrone Brooks and Clark Phillips III.
