Falcons elevate DB Lamar Jackson for Panthers game

This marks the cornerback's second standard practice squad elevation in 2024.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Cornerback Lamar Jackson is the Atlanta Falcons' Week 18 standard practice squad elevation, the team announced Saturday.

The Falcons host the Carolina Panthers on Sunday (1 p.m. ET, CBS) inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium for their 2024 regular-season finale.

This marks Jackson's second elevation with the Falcons. He appeared in the Falcons' Week 17 loss to the Washington Commanders, taking two snaps on special teams.

Jackson is amid his fifth year in the NFL, having joined in 2020 with the New York Jets. He has appeared in 24 games, starting six, with five different teams and totaled 31 tackles with one stop for a loss and an additional four pass breakups.
