FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons have extended long snapper Liam McCullough's contract, the team announced Thursday. It is a four-year extension.
Aside from signing reserve/future contracts, this marks the organization's first roster move ahead of the 2025 season. McCullough was set to become a free agent when the new league year officially begins on March 12. Now, the 27-year-old is guaranteed to be in Atlanta for at least another season.
McCullough joined the Falcons in 2022 and has played in all 51 games over the last three seasons. The Falcons are the only team for whom McCullough has made a live appearance in a game since he joined the NFL in 2020 as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State University. He previously spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Las Vegas Raiders but never took an in-game snap.

With McCullough back, the Falcons retain their special teams unit for the fourth consecutive season. Punter Bradley Pinion is signed through 2025. Kicker Younghoe Koo is good through 2026.
"It's rare to have the continuity because for each position, there's only 32 spots for each position," Falcons special teams coordinator Marquice Williams said last October. "So, to have that continuity and having guys under contract and then also too, not only having those guys under contract, but they work well together. There's three different guys, three different personalities, but they all understand each other. They all understand how they operate, how important their job is for one another and how they directly correlate to the other person's success."
