Tabeek's NFL Power Rankings: Patriots, Saints 1-2 as Falcons slide

1008_Tabeek-power

It feels a little early to be writing this with 11 games to go in this 2019 NFL season, but we're starting to see some separation from the haves and the have nots.

And I'm not talking about teams like the Patriots, Saints, Packers and Chiefs. Nor am I referring to the likes of the Dolphins, Bengals, Redskins or Jets, either.

However, the 49ers (4-0), Bills (4-1), Seahawks (4-1) and even the Lions (2-1-1) are starting to show everyone that they're not about to roll over anytime soon. And, well, on the opposite end of the spectrum you have the Chargers (2-3), Steelers (1-4) and even the Falcons (1-4) – teams we were expecting more from who haven't produced the wins like we thought they would.

But there are 12 weeks to go and a lot can – and will – happen between now and Dec. 29, the final Sunday of the season. And it's going to be very interesting to see how it all unfolds. So, without further ado, it's time for the Week 6 edition of my power rankings. Enjoy.

5. Chiefs (4-1) TABEEK'S TAKE PREVIOUS
Speaking of the Chiefs, they’d better shore up that run defense or it’ll be a much colder winter in KC. 2

No one cares about style points when they look at your win-loss record. Pretty or not, Seahawks keep stacking those W’s up. 9

It’s time to take this team seriously. They head into their bye week on a high note. 10

Back-to-back close losses to two quality teams. They better not look past the Jets though. 4

9. Rams (3-2) TABEEK'S TAKE PREVIOUS
Tough loss on the road in Seattle. I still think they’ll end up winning the West. Unbeaten Niners are up next. 6

Say what? Cam who? Oh, you mean Christian. Yeah, he’s the best all-around back in the league. 14

Now that’s more like it, Vikes. Get the ball more to your gifted receivers and you’ll win plenty more. 16

If/when this team gets completely healthy, they’re going to be a handful. They’re getting closer. 12

I’m slowly learning to not count the Raiders out. They’ll face the Packers when they come out of their bye week. That’ll be telling. 18

16. Colts (3-2) TABEEK'S TAKE PREVIOUS
They attacked the Chiefs’ weak spot and beat ’em. Sure helps when you have Quenton Nelson and Marlon Mack. 21

Marcus Mariota and the Titans are still playing conservative, mistake-free ball but … scoring seven points isn’t going to win many games. 22

I don’t write (or say) this often but Philip Rivers had an ugly game. It’s gonna be hard to catch the Chiefs like that. 23
