Head coach Mike Smith always looks for a variety of ways to give back to the community and charities, and sometimes that means turning the roster of players into a staff of waiters for a great cause. Benefitting the Children's Miracle Network, the Huddle Up for Miracles event, hosted by Smith, does exactly that, turning the Falcons' biggest stars into food runners and entertainers for a night.
Huddle Up for Miracles will be held beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 30 at The Capital Grille at 255 East Paces Ferry Road in Atlanta. Tickets for the event are on sale now and can be purchased at www.choa.org/huddle. Tickets are $400 per person, which includes admittance to the event, dinner and beverages with all others proceeds going to the Children's Miracle Network.
Throughout the event, the approximately 40 Falcons players and coaches will also be working hard for tips that will go directly to Children's Miracle Network. Impromptu karaoke sessions and dance numbers for players and coaches have been popular choices by guests to get the tips rolling in.
The event will also include a live auction, featuring items like: a trip for two on the team charter to an away game, the chance to be the water boy/girl for a day of training camp, golf with Smith and quarterback Matt Ryan at The River Club, and more.
