The Atlanta Falcons announced Tuesday that they have waived punter Matt Wile with an injury settlement, signed offensive lineman John Wetzel to the active roster and signed tight end Carson Meier to the practice squad.

Wile has been with the Falcons at various points this season with starting punter Matt Bosher dealing with a groin injury, but he injured his quad prior to Atlanta's game against the Arizona Cardinals. In two games this season, Wile has a combined six punts for 290 yards; his longest punt was a 60-yarder against the Houston Texans. Wetzel and Meier have also spent time with Atlanta throughout the year but neither have yet played a game for the Falcons.
