The Atlanta Falcons announced Tuesday that they have agreed to terms with defensive end Austin Larkin and added him to their practice squad. In a corresponding move, the Falcons have released offensive lineman Anthony Coyle from the practice squad.
Larkin, 24, played in all five preseason games for the Falcons, recording 11 tackles, one sack and three hits on the quarterback. He has spent time on and off the Falcons' practice squad this season and was last with the team on Oct. 1.
The Falcons have seen their pass rush explode in the last two games. Atlanta has sacked the quarterback 11 times since the bye week after recording only seven during the first half of the season.
