The Atlanta Falcons announced Wednesday that they have signed offensive lineman John Wetzel to a one-year contract.
Wetzel, 28, appeared in two games for the Falcons after signing with Atlanta last offseason. The veteran has the type of versatility the Falcons look for in their reserve offensive linemen, and he has familiarity within Atlanta's scheme.
Wetzel joined the NFL in 2013, and he has been with five different teams during that time. During a three-year run with the Arizona Cardinals from 2016-18, Wetzel started 24 games.
